I was just think that it would be a great time to buy. My husband and I just moved here (and we love it) and are renting a place now. We need some help looking at all the different neighborhoods and where would be a good place for us. Any recommendations for a realtor is is really familiar with the island and home inventory?

I have a question.. I am looking to move into a new home on Hilton Head. I currently live in a large Plantation on the South End of the Island. I would like to move into a different neighborhood but my fear is that I can not sell my home. Any suggestions what I can do? My neighbors have had their house listed for 5 months with not much traffic. I think they have it listed too high but they are looking to negotiate. For those of you that are real estate experts…what do you suggest?

I would suggest to make sure you contact a qualified Realtor , that has a good track record of advertizing and marketing proerties in your plantation. Take a look at their listings sold percentage, and ask them to give you some refereces from past owners that have sold using thier services. But right now is the best time to buy , so maybe a trade could be worked out for your home.
